3/15/25 Basket Weaving Workshop

Have you ever wanted to try basketweaving but didn’t know where to start?

During this one-day workshop, Darby Stevens, our talented instructor, will give you an introduction to the tools, terminology, and techniques of traditional checkerwork basketry while you weave your very own 10x10 Handled Market Basket. Designed for beginning students with little or no experience in basketweaving, or for those who may have dabbled in the past and would like to brush up on their skills!

March 15, 9am - 4/5pm (Lunch on your own... we can always order in, too)

$65 Light refreshments provided CLASS LIMIT 8

SUPPLIES TO BRING:  Tape measure (dressmaker or standard) and small flathead screwdriver.  All other materials will be provided and a supply list will be given during the class for future weaving (because YOU WILL BE HOOKED).

BORING STUFF:  This class is non-refundable. In the case of a weather event, the class will be postponed.  The instructor has the right to cancel the workshop for insufficient registration (refunds WILL be offered in this case).
